KineticPacer by ACMINC Privacy Policy

This policy explains how KineticPacer handles data on iPhone and Apple Watch. KineticPacer is designed as a local-first fitness application centered on heart-rate zone training, workout configuration, workout history, watch-aware workout support, and compatible Bluetooth heart-rate monitor support for phone-only sessions.

Effective date: March 24, 2026

1. Overview

KineticPacer is developed by ACMINC. The app is intended to help users train with heart-rate zones, configure workouts, review workout history, receive workout reminders, use Apple Watch as a workout companion, and use compatible Bluetooth heart-rate monitors with iPhone workouts where supported.

The app is designed around a local-first model. Based on the current implementation, KineticPacer does not require account creation, a cloud sync account, or a remote backend for core workout use.

2. Data We Use

KineticPacer may access or generate the following categories of data in order to provide app features:

  • Health and workout-related information such as heart rate, workout sessions, and workout summaries when the relevant Apple permissions are granted.
  • Location information during outdoor workouts when location access is granted and the feature is used.
  • User profile and training configuration information such as age, resting heart rate, target zone, unit preferences, and workout reminder settings.
  • Workout history and summary information generated by the app, including zone distribution and workout metrics.
  • Limited local widget snapshot data used to present recent workout information on the device widget.
  • Apple Watch communication data required to coordinate workout state and display between iPhone and Apple Watch.
  • Bluetooth-related device connection data required to receive live heart-rate data from compatible Bluetooth heart-rate monitors during phone-only workouts.

3. Permissions and Feature Use

KineticPacer requests permissions only for features that depend on them.

  • HealthKit: used for heart-rate-aware training behavior and workout-related functionality.
  • Bluetooth: used when connecting a compatible Bluetooth heart-rate monitor for live heart-rate data on iPhone.
  • Location Services: used for outdoor workouts that need pacing, distance, or related route progress.
  • Notifications: used for workout reminders if reminders are enabled by the user.
  • Apple Watch connectivity: used to keep workout state and companion experience aligned across devices.

If you decline a permission, the related feature may be limited or unavailable, but that does not automatically prevent use of unrelated app features.

4. How Data Is Stored

KineticPacer stores app data locally on the device to support app functionality. This may include workout history, training preferences, reminder settings, and recent workout snapshot information used by widgets.

Based on the current app implementation reviewed for this page, KineticPacer does not appear to depend on a separate ACMINC-operated cloud service for core workout storage, user accounts, analytics, or advertising delivery.

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

KineticPacer is not designed around selling personal data or sharing workout data with advertisers.

As currently implemented, the app does not appear to require third-party analytics or advertising SDKs for core behavior. If a future release introduces additional services, this policy should be updated accordingly.

6. Your Choices

You can manage permissions through iOS and watchOS settings. You can also stop using reminder-related features, location-dependent features, or health-dependent features by disabling those permissions or related app settings where applicable.

If you delete the app, locally stored app data may be removed from the device subject to platform behavior. Data separately stored by Apple platform services may remain subject to Apple’s own policies and device settings.

7. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated if KineticPacer changes how it handles data, adds new features, adds online services, or changes platform integrations. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are published.
